i'm excited for artfight, but the rush to finish all my refs (which can hardly be called such) has been a little stressful. it's made me realize how little artwork i've made in the past year. i've just been too busy, i guess? maybe i'm just lazy? whatever the cause, it's a bit shameful. i need to get back on track.

ocassionally i make something nicer than normal for lunch, and i get a little excited thinking about how good it will be the next day.

it just occured to me: obviously i would like it! it's made by myself for my tastes!

i would say i'm a pretty laid back guy. i'm not unflappable, but i think i get angry or annoyed far less often than most.

however, second-hand shopping for ouji clothing has made me IRRATIONALLY angry. i know the clothes i found aren't mine yet because i haven't paid for them (nor can i, for the time being), but i still wish nobody bought them before i could!

i believe that first impressions matter. it is not uncommon for people to, consciously or not, make assumptions or pass judgements onto people they have only just seen.

so, what is somebody supposed to make of a young adult on a public bus playing the nintendo DS with a giant balloon dog sticking out of her pants pocket during rush hour?
